Since the very first Australian Touring Car Championship race held at Gnoo-Blass in 1960, Holden has been a mainstay on the grid competing in the premier category of Australian motorsport.
Over 1000 race starts, a glittering history and a legion of passionate fans later, Holden’s time will come to an end at the 2022 Adelaide 500 where the brand will make its final racing appearance in the championship.
Their time racing in ATCC / Supercars has seen Holden attain a legendary position in the history of the sport which may not be surpassed, winning more than 50% of the races they have started while claiming a raft of podiums, pole positions and 23 driver’s championships along the way.
Australia’s premier motor race at Bathurst has also been a happy hunting ground for the lion. Holden have claimed 36 wins of ‘The Great Race’ – the most of any brand at the hands of some of the greatest drivers to ever turn a wheel.
To commemorate Holden’s significant achievements across ATCC/Supercars history, Authentic Collectables are proud to present this incredible Holden VF Commodore featuring a very special livery by renowned motorsport designer Peter Hughes.
Hughes, a GM Automotive Designer for many years and the man who has designed many of the Holden’s famous race winning liveries has worked in collaboration with us to create this stunning End of an Era model for Holden fans:
