As cult 1960s TV show Thunderbirds celebrates its 50th anniversary, we’re proud to present a new range of Corgi Thunderbirds models based on the original classic series, for both long-standing enthusiasts and a new generation of fans. Did you know. Thunderbird 2 appeared in all but one episode of the original TV series. Thunderbird 2 is International Rescue’s heavy equipment transporter, and is also used as the transport vehicle for the smaller Thunderbird vehicles. The craft’s main pilot is Virgil Tracy, who is sometimes accompanied by back-up crew members.
