Description
Part of the fifth generation of the popular F-Series,the 1968 F-250 Custom Cab featured a 131-inch wheelbase, an 8-foot bed and Twin I-Beam Front Suspension. Originally introduced in 1965, Ford’s revolutionary Twin I-Beam Suspension provided an independent axle for each front wheel. The 1968 F-250 also boasted Ford’s Flexomatic Rear Suspension, which made its debut in 1967. Both suspension features were designed to allow greater control and smoother driving over rough roads.
