- If you’ve been building kits for a while, you’ll recognize the unique kits that came out under ‘Wierdos’, ‘Rat Fink’, and other banners. Many of these kits were caricatures of various subjects just for fun. Moebius Models takes up back to that time with an all-new-tool drag car designed by artist Von Franco.This kit is molded in light gray styrene and presented on five parts trees plus the car body. The details in the kit nicely replicate the box art right down to the irons on the wrists of the driver/creature.
When finished, the model rests on its rear wheels and the exhaust flames to replicate the image of the car leaping off the start line. You’ll probably spend more time painting this model than building it, as you can have some serious fun and try out your creature painting and flame shades.
If you’re looking for something different, this will be a fun project that will look fine unpainted, but can turn into a conversation piece with some not-too-strenuous paint!
