Description
The XY Falcon was a full-size car produced by Ford Australia from 1968 to 1972. It was the first Falcon to be based on the American Ford Falcon platform, and was the first Falcon to be produced in Australia. The XY was the first Falcon to be fitted with a V8 engine, and the first to be fitted with a four-speed manual transmission. The XY was also the first Falcon to be fitted with a front disc brake system.
